Jisho Warner, roshi, is our abiding teacher. Jisho Roshi makes her warm presence and deep teachings available to us in groups and individually. You are welcome to make an appointment to talk with her about Zen practice and its place in your life.

Joko Haselwood, sensei, assists Jisho at Stone Creek and leads the weekly Empty Bowl Zen group in Cotati.

 

 

Dojin_Sarah

Dojin Sarah Emerson, head priest. Dojin and her partner Korin were entered as head priests of Stone Creek Zen Center in January, 2014. They will work with Jisho to offer the dharma through talks, classes and individual practice discussion. Dojin trained at Tassajara Zen Mountain center and other sites of the San Francisco Zen Center from 1997-2007.  She ordained as a Zen Buddhist priest with Abbot Gaelyn Godwin at the Houston Zen Center in 2007.  She has worked in the fields of mental health and pastoral care.  She is currently delighting in the practice of Dharma in family life with Korin and their two children in Northern California.

Korin

Korin Charlie Pokorny, head priest. Korin was ordained as a priest by Reb Anderson in 1999. He practiced as a resident at Tassajara and Green Gulch Farm for 12 years, including serving as tenzo and director at Tassajara. He holds a master’s degree from Stanford University in Religious Studies, and currently teaches at the Institute of Buddhist Studies.
